Change FileDate isn't working.

Hi, I installed Change FileDate 5.1443, and I tried to modify the Access Date of a file. But when I clicked "Change Date", it ignored the new date I chose, and instead it changed the access date to one (1) day earlier than the original Access Date.
For example, the file was last accessed on the 3rd of January 2007, and I tried to change that to the 1st of December 2006. But instead the program changed it to the 2nd of January 2007. I tried again, but the program made the same mistake--it changed the date to the 1st of January 2007.
I'm using Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 3. Thanks in advance for your help.
